**How long does Botox take to work?**
The positive results of a wrinkle-relaxing injection like Botox or Azzalure can be seen in as little as 2 days after treatment although sometimes it can take up to a week to see the best results. If you’re considering a wrinkle-softening treatment to get you looking your best for a special event, we would recommend that you book an appointment about 2 weeks beforehand.
**At what age should you start having Botox?**
The decision to have an anti-ageing treatment such as Botox®, is not about age but more about whether you have acquired any facial wrinkles that you’d like to conceal! Regular wrinkle-softening injectables will both smooth out existing wrinkles and inhibit the future formation of wrinkles.
**Are there any side effects of Botox treatment?**
As with all medical procedures, there are some potential side-effects of a Botox® injectable treatment but generally speaking they are mild and short-lived. Occasionally you may notice a very slight droopiness of the eyelid but this only occurs in less than 5% of cases and symptoms go within 2 weeks maximum. Furthermore, if you are regularly taking aspirin or NSAIDs you may experience some light bruising.
